FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, applicable in charging of blast furnaces. SUBSTANCE: furnace is charged by through-flow bunkers in which burden is preliminarily distributed by its spiral placement in bunker on loading section with concurrent rotation of bunker through even number of revolutions for time of charging. Unloading of burden from bunker into furnace and delivery of previous bunker for loading is carried out simultaneously. Pressure in bunker is equalized with furnace pressure before its installation on receiving section of charging device and equalization with atmospheric pressure is effected through system of gas cleaning after removal of bunker from receiving part of charging device. EFFECT: increased efficiency of charging system and economy of coke due to preliminary preparation of operations and higher productivity of furnace due to extension of boundaries of duration of preliminary distribution of materials and reduced harmful effluents to atmosphere. 2 cl, 3 dwg
