FIELD: nuclear reactors. SUBSTANCE: mechanism has levers 8 that engage drillings in control element 14 as rod 9 of grip control member moves down under the action of electromagnet 5 whose armature 11 travels over distance shorter than does control element between its bottom stop and bottom working position. Transverse size of grip control member on entire length of control element movement is sufficient to ensure engagement between actuating and control elements. Control element has longitudinal opening at least as long as movement distance and greater in cross dimension than grip control member. The latter may be made as tube whose length is not shorter than movement distance of control element and internal transverse dimension of control element. EFFECT: simplified design. 4 cl, 4 dwg
