METHOD OF PREPARING MATRICARY EXTRACT BEING ENRICHED BY FLAVONOIDES Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: Matricaria chamomilla L is treated by cooling agent, or by hexane, or by methylene chloride, or by carbon tetrachloride, or by carbon dioxide. The process is followed by extraction with 55-75 % low molecular weight aliphatic alcohol having 1-3 carbon atoms. Thus prepared extract is evaporated and mixed with polyamide sorbent, ratio raw materials: sorbent being 10:(2.5-3.5). Thus obtained mixture is placed into column with polyamide sorbent, ratio raw materials mixture:sorbent being 10: (1.7-2.5). Said column is washed by water till eluate is slightly colored. Desired product is desorbed by polar organic sorbent, eluate is evaporated and dried. EFFECT: increases degree of extraction of flavonoides.
