SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmacy, namely to a method for preparing an agent having neuroprotective, metabolic action. Method for producing an agent having neuroprotective, metabolic action, for this purpose, a plant material consisting of Astragalus membranaceus roots, Scutellaria baicalensis roots, Matricaria chamomilla flowers at a ratio of components in wt.pts. (5:3:2), crushed to particle size of 1.0–3.0 mm, extracted with hot water 75 °C three times while stirring at temperature of 75 °C at ratio of 1 wt.pts. plant material: 10 volume parts of extractant, first and second contact of phases for 20 minutes, third contact of phases for 15 minutes, then combined extracts are filtered, evaporated, purified by separation, additionally evaporated, then dried in a vacuum drying apparatus.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a drug with high neuroprotective, metabolic activity.
