FIELD: sorting hard materials. SUBSTANCE: plate 2 has a polished lower surface and lies at an α-angle to the horizontal. Plate 2 is underlain by additional plate 3 disposed in a spaced relation to it. Plates 2 and 3 have seals 4 interposed between them so as to form cell 1. Located opposite to the axis of plate 2 is device 6 for feeding microspheres. The device comprises discharge pipe of teardrop configuration. The channel is disposed in a symmetric relation to the axis of plate 2. The latter has slots 8 arranged along the periphery of its polished surface. The slots are placed in parallel to the axis of plate 2 in its lower section. They meet in its upper section so as to form a projection. Plate 2 incorporates microsphere receivers 9-11 in its upper section. Additional receiver 12 is arranged level with slots 8 at their meeting site. Receivers 9 and 11 are placed on the projection and receiver 10 extends along the axis of plate 2. Plates 2 and 3 are located on the projection and have baffles interposed between them. The baffles are located at a sharp angle to the axis of plate 2 and adapted to direct microspheres to receivers 9-11. Plate 2 has capillary 14 extending along its axis at the lower edge. Capillary 14 is connected to a gas delivery system for adjusting the device. Plate 2 has its polished surface directed inside cell 1 which is filled with conducting fluid. Microspheres of minimal thickness difference are fed to cell 1 through feeder 6 for rolling up along plate 2 through buoyancy force so as to get to receiver 10. Microspheres of larger thickness difference are delivered to receiver 9 and 11 and those of maximal thickness difference arrive through slots to receiver 12 in a twisted flow. EFFECT: increased output and higher technological potentiality of unit. 4 cl, 5 dwg, 1 dwg
