FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: evaporator has heating chamber, upper and lower solution chambers, solution supply union positioned in lower part of central tube bank, separator, and is further provided with auxiliary union, tube plate, housing and cover, which is mounted in upper solution chamber so that tubes of central bank may be removed from solution chamber. Tubes of central bank are made longer than peripheral tubes, whose lower ends are secured in auxiliary tube plate, which is positioned below separator. Central tube bank has housing positioned in spaced relation with respect to upper tube plate and fixed to lower and auxiliary tube plates. Housing has openings positioned above lower tube plate. Heating steam union is arranged in lower part of heating chamber. Condensate discharge unions and noncondensable gas unions are positioned in lower part of central tube bank. EFFECT: increased efficiency of heat exchange process by increased flow rate of steam in tube spacing of heating chamber and reduced effect of noncondensable gases on heat exchange process efficiency. 2 dwg
