FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: multibody concentrating plant, mainly for food products, comprises film- type concentrators installed one after another along the flow of steam. The first concentrator along the steam flow has pipe unions for discharge of condensate and noncondensing gases. Each subsequent concentrator has inlet and outlet pipe unions for condensate and noncondensing gases in the chamber under the lower tube plate. Said plate has a through hole; the condensate outlet pipe union communicates with the pipe union for admitting condensate into the chamber under the lower tube plate of the next concentrator while the pipe union discharging noncondensing gases communicates with the pipe union for letting in noncondensing gases into the chamber under the lower tube plate of the next concentrator along the steam flow. The upper solution chamber of the concentrator is divided by a vertical partition into two isolated sections. One of these sections accommodates devices for letting in the concentrated product and its uniform distribution in the form of film among the heat-exchange tubes. The other section of the upper solution chamber accommodates the devices for directing steam and product into a separator. The upper tube plate of the concentrator is divided by a vertical partition into two sections with an equal number of heat-exchange tubes. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 4 dwg
