Abstract SU 1578883 A1

FIELD: heat exchange. SUBSTANCE: evaporator has housing, fluid distributor with openings for sprinkling, bank of horizontal heat exchanging pipes that underlies the distributor, vertical side baffles, vapor separating device, and branch pipes for supplying initial fluid and discharging boiled down fluid and the secondary vapor. The evaporator is provided with collectors for boiled down fluid, drain pipes for discharging fluid which underlie the bottom pipes over the whole their length and made up as longitudinal ducts. The width of each duct does not exceed the diameter of the heat exchanging pipe. The top edges of the walls of the duct are at the level of the bottom generatrix of the pipe. The adjacent pipes of the vertical row are interconnected along the generatrix via cross-pieces. The bottom pipe are provided with ribs mounted along the bottom generatrix. The evaporator is provided with fluid deflectors which are interposed between the vertical rows of the pipes over the whole length and made up as, e.g., corners the tops of which point upward. The width of the deflectors is less than the distance between the axes of the pipes and greater than the distance between the vertical rows of the pipes. The edges of the deflector are positioned no lower than the level of the top generatrix of the pipe. The fluid distributor is provided with diffuser nozzles made up as a trancated rectangular pyramid. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
