FLUIDIZED BED DRIER Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: fishery; drying of ground products. SUBSTANCE: drier has cylindrical taper fluidized bed chamber with lower taper portion 1 and upper cylindrical portion 2 and branch pipes 4 for evacuation of waste heat-transfer agent. Part 2 contains filtering screen 3 and part 1 contains gas distributing grid 5. Branch pipes 6 for discharge of material in form of suspension are mounted in portion 2 above grid 5 over circumference. Portion 2 is provided with loading device. Branch pipes have bevel cut at base which is located in taper portion of chamber and is shifted relative to vertical axis of chamber. Each branch pipe 6 is provided with drive 9 for vertical motion. All branch pipes 6 are provided with common swivel device having chain transmission 10 and drive 11. Dry particles of material are taken by branch pipes 6. Turn of branch pipe 6 defines angle of entrapping particles of material relative to trajectory of rotation of product and changes flow rate of heat-transfer agent in separation space. Number of branch pipes 6 depends on amount of heat-transfer agent fed under grid 5 and rate of discharge of dry product of required content of moisture. EFFECT: increased productivity. 3 dwg
