STAGED THERMOELECTRIC COOLER Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract SU 1616454 A1

FIELD: thermoelectric coolers. SUBSTANCE: device has identical thermocouples. Branches of all subsequent stages have several identical parts which number equals to number of stage. Branches are connected to one another by conducting insertions. All thermocouples of cooler are connected in series. All stages are placed in one level. Thermocouples of last stage are positioned in center of cooler and are surrounded by symmetrical thermocouples of previous stages in descendent order of stage numbering. Hot junctions of thermocouples of all stages are connected to radiator. Conducting insertions of branches of thermocouples of all stages which have identical numbers with respect to radiator are connected by heat conductor. EFFECT: increased efficiency of cooling, decreased size. 1 dwg
