FIELD: organosilicon compounds, more particularly preparation of monomers containing functional groups for the synthesis of polyethylsiloxane liquids. SUBSTANCE: the synthesis is effected by reacting magnesium with ethyl chloride, tetraethoxysilane and diorhanodichlorosilane of the formula: SiCl2(CH3)R wherein R is C6H5, γ-C3H4F3, C6H3Cl2, C4H3S, used in an amount of 0.1-0.5 mole/l of the reaction mixture in an organic solvent at 50-100 C. The resultant compounds form liquids having better viscosity and temperature characteristics (viscosity at 20 C 22-124 cS, at 60 C 14500 cS as against 200-500 cS and greater than 15000 cS in the prior art). In this case, conversion of diorganodichlorosilane is fully attained in triorganorthoxysilane. EFFECT: improved viscosity and temperature characteristics of said liquid. 2 tbl
