FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: electric generating plant has power turbine 2 of main gas-turbine engine 1 which is connected with electric machine 6 electrically connected in its turn with ship's supply line 20 through reversible static current frequency converter 13. Provision is also made for electric machine 9 attached to turbo-compressor 7 of main gas-turbine engine which is connected both with input of reversible static current frequency converter and with its output. Electric machine 6 operates both in power generation mode and as propulsion electric motor taking power from ship's supply line or from electric machine 9 attached on turbocompressor of main gas-turbine engine. Electric machine 9 attached on turbocompressor is placed in operation in case of derangement of self-contained generators. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
