FIELD: production of pneumatic tires. SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing tire casing outer housing in the form of two parts 10 having sizes and configuration conforming to that of tire carcass profile half at the stage of applying reinforcing filaments; forming outer housing by preliminary manufacturing its parts from raw sheet material; mounting housing parts on inner housing 3 of carcass. Parts 10 are formed and mounted on inner housing 3 of carcass by means of punch 13, which has perforated working surface connected with cavity 17. Cavity 17 is provided with vacuumizing device and compressed air supply device. Annular knives 15 are arranged along borders of punch working surface.
