FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: charge for oxyfluoride flux smelting, besides having fluospar, lime and sintered magnesite, additionally has dump slag of ferroboron production with following ration of shares, mass %: fluospar - 35-41; lime - 13-17; sintered magnesite - 10-13; dump slag of ferroboron production - 33-38. Addition of dump slag of ferroboron production in flux provides electric power consumption decrease and increase of physical and mechanical properties of smelted metal. EFFECT: usage of charge for oxyfluoride flux smelting does not require additional expenditures, increases quality of metal, decreases its manufacturing cost and expands resources base for flux production. 1 tbl
