FIELD: measurement of liquid conductivity. SUBSTANCE: method involves application of AC voltage to electrodes immersed in liquid and measurement of active resistance between them directly and between them and insulation, and calculation of conductivity by using measurement results. Method is characterized by measurement of active resistance between electrodes isolated by insulation placed between them which makes it possible to eliminate effect of stray electric fields. Device implementing this method has generator 1, resistor 2, electrodes 3, switch 4, electrodes 5, common bus 6, switch 7, recorder 8, and synchronizer 9.
