FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes a connection assembly of busbars 1,2 with bolts 3, modified by application on one of its ends of weld seam 4, whose length lw is minimum one and being determined according to expression , where pw- specific electric resistance of a material of the welded seam; μ torque value at tightening of n bolts with a diameter d of each bolt; lc, Bc - a length and a width of the contact joint; R1 and R 2 electric resistance of busbars, being connected, in contact portions; Rmax the most of these resistance values; R1 and R 2, K,a,b values, depending upon the material of busbars; Ci coefficient, defining a change of busbar resistance in dependance upon a ratio of a length of the busbar contact portion to its thickness. The apparatus provides a lowering of contact resistance practically by an order in comparison with the apparatus, using a bolt joint. EFFECT: lowered labor consumption and decreased electric energy losses due to lowered voltage drop of the contact joint. 1 cl, 3 dwg
