Abstract SU 1725685 A1

FIELD: SHF devices. SUBSTANCE: waveguide SHF window of can type has length of cylinder of round waveguide with lateral vacuum-tight dielectric partition installed in it and rectangular waveguides uniaxially connected to it on both sides. Dimension of their wide wall exceeds diameter of cylinder. At least one base of cylinder is provided with two inner segment protrusions which chords are parallel to wide walls of rectangular waveguides and which arcs of circles are concentric on side wall of cylinder and have clearances between them. Clearances are made in compliance with expression 0.1 mm≅ Δh<0.1(λ/4), where Δh is value of clearance, mm; λ is working length of wave, mm. EFFECT: increased thermal resistance of metal-and-dielectric seal with expansion of bandwidth as well as of band of frequencies free from spurious resonances of SHF window. 3 dwg
