FIELD: dies. SUBSTANCE: method involves obtaining measured billet by dissecting plates, which had been worn out during operation to such extent that their height reached critical value, in vertical plane; engraving pass by machining; providing supporting surfaces; conducting thermal treatment, plumbing, assembling and finishing. Pass engraving and supporting surfaces are made on vertical surfaces provided by dissecting stamp. Supporting surfaces of stamp and stamp parts are provided also on vertical surfaces obtained by dissecting stamp. EFFECT: increased efficiency and wider operational capabilities. 2 cl, 4 dwg
