FIELD: electric and hydraulic pulse machining of materials and articles. SUBSTANCE: capacitor bank is charged from constant voltage source through interelectrode gap formed in fluid between electrode-nose and electrode-plane. Voltage of charge is tested and when it reaches specified value it is discharged through interelectrode gap. In process of charging lower potential is maintained on electrode-nose with reference to potential of electrode-plane. EFFECT: increased efficiency of machining. 2 dwg
