METHOD OF REGENERATION OF CATHODE LUMINOPHORE ON THE BASIS OF ZINC AND CADMIUM SULFIDE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract SU 1759021 A1

FIELD: inorganic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: luminophore is treated preliminary with aqueous solution of glycine (concentration is 0.5-8.5 g glycine/100 g luminophore) at 80-90 C for 10-20 min and washed with water. The following treatment with peroxydisulfate is carried out at equimolar quantity of it with respect to sodium hydroxide in the presence of sodium perchlorate taken at concentration 0.01-0.15 g/100 g luminophore. Then luminophore is washed additionally with acetic acid solution at concentration 0.2-1.6 vol.%. The luminophore is treated with solutions of zinc sulfate and potassium silicate taken at the ratio 0.47-0.96 in the presence of disperser of mineral oil C-10. Peroxydisulfate is used at concentration 1-4 g per 100 g luminophore, and treatment is carried out at 80-90 C. Luminophore is used for making of kinescope screens for color television. EFFECT: improved method of regeneration. 2 cl, 1 tbl
