FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed superconducting current change-over switch includes key element carrying pair of current contacts electrically connected to current source and potential contacts arranged between them. Load is linked to potential contacts. Switch also has source of changing-over magnetic field acting on material of key element in area between potential contacts. Close to contacts areas of key element are produced from polycrystalline superconducting ceramics formed with anisotropic monocrystals of their crystallographic directions main orientation parallel to acting magnetic field. Intensity of critical magnetic field has maximum value along these crystallographic directions. EFFECT: increased reliability of switch. 1 dwg
