FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: superconducting current change-over switch has key element carrying pair of current contacts electrically connected to current source and potential contacts located between them, load linked to them and source of changing-over magnetic field acting on material of key element in area between potential contacts. It is proposed to use key element produced from polycrystalline superconducting ceramics formed by anisotropic monocrystals with orientation of their crystallographic directions in parallel to acting magnetic field. Intensity of critical magnetic field has minimal value along these crystallographic directions. EFFECT: increased reliability of switch. 1 dwg
