FIELD: electronics. SUBSTANCE: tuning of electronic device is carried out in arranged sequence from anode to collector. Semi-ring of first magnet is moved apart, semi-ring is removed, remaining semi-ring is rotated, removed semi-ring is replaced with smaller magnet, magnets with openings are withdrawn, their optimal positions are found and fixed. Semi-ring of other magnets are moved apart and rotated, their optimal positions are found and fixed. Magnets with dimensions amounting to 1/2-1/10 part of magnet semi-ring are put on anode sleeve, anode and collector. Then tuning is conducted from collector to start of output section in points of working band having greatest current of slow-wave structure. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of tuning. 1 dwg
