FIELD: equipment for protection of objects against action of air shock waves. SUBSTANCE: container includes cylindrical shell closed with face elements. Partition with central hole is attached to shell in front of each of them. Moderation of action of air shock waves is obtained thanks to selection of radius of hole in partition, its spacing from geometric center and from face element in compliance with conditions established experimentally. Nearing face element air shock interacts with partition. In this case part of energy of air shock wave is spent for deformation of partition. Penetrating beyond partition through its hole air shock wave suffers side off-loading, loses considerable part of energy and is transformed into smooth gas dynamic flow not dangerous for face element. EFFECT: increased reliability of protection due to moderation of action of air shock wave. 3 dwg
