SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at expansion of functional capabilities by provision of operation of ring counter under modes of successive input of external information, under mode of shift of information followed by zeroing of all positions and under mode of conversion of codes of their working states. Ring counter includes first 1 and second 2 two-channel n-position multiplexers, RC elements 3-6 of first and 7-10 of second groups, OR-ELSE gate 11, first 12, second 13 and third 14 NOT-OR gates and inverter 15.
