FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: coaxial magnetron has cathode, anode unit with slowing structure and cophasal communication slits in its wall, stabilizing cavity with working mode H01p at frequency f1 controlled by contactless piston, and output waveguide transmitting microwave signal at frequency f1. Coaxial magnetron is provided in addition with one more cathode and anode unit has second vane-type slowing system with frequency f2. Each even-numbered vane of additional slowing structure is in electric contact with anode unit wall and each odd-numbered vane is contactless. Each vane not in contact with anode unit wall has radial section protruding from holes made in anode unit wall and in stabilizing cavity. Vane portion protruding to stabilizing cavity is shaped as coupling loop placed in vane plane and exciting TEMТЕМ001-type modes in cavity at frequency f2. Stabilizing cavity, whose control piston is of throttling type, has additional (second) output waveguide whose wide walls are arranged in plane perpendicular to stabilizing cavity axis. Stabilizing cavity Lp is calculated from definite equation. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities due to double-frequency, double-channel operation. 2 dwg
