FIELD: petroleum chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing raw materials to atmospheric-and-vacuum refining to obtain directly distilled diesel fraction and vacuum distillate fraction. The latter is mixed with heavy gas oil and cracking is carried out in presence of ball cracking catalysts containing zeolite in one case and CO afterburning promoter to transform it into CO2 in the other case at mass proportion of (33-0.001):1. The so obtained products are subjected to distillation to obtain the end products - light and heavy gas oil. Worked out catalyst is subjected to oxidizing recovery. The directly distilled diesel fraction is mixed with light gas oil of catalyzed cracking. EFFECT: high quality gasoline and diesel fuel; enhanced production output. 4 tbl
