FIELD: medicine, cardiovascular surgery. SUBSTANCE: vascular xenoprostheses were prepared by treatment with glutaric aldehyde and additionally - with 10% solution of Zn2-EDTA in ammonia buffer at pH = 7.4 for 24 h. EFFECT: prolonged serving due to elimination of calcification and enzymatic degradation.
