FIELD: tobacco industry, in particular, fermentary plant equipment. SUBSTANCE: baling apparatus has two compression chambers rigidly interconnected one with the other, arranged in V-shaped pattern one with respect to the other and rigidly fixed on common rotary base, bale ejection mechanism, precompression device, two final compression devices and mechanism for retaining compression chamber bases in extreme positions relative to final compression devices. Precompression device has two compression plates with arched distributing boards and drive. Distributing boards are interconnected through pivot joints. Each compression plate has flexible member for providing continuous contact between compression plate and compression chamber sidewall. Final compression device has worm gear drive and compression plate. Base axis of rotation is positioned at point of intersection of compression chamber axes of symmetry.
