FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, particularly for actuation of group drives of automatic quick-response fire-extinguishing devices in factories under fire and explosion hazardous conditions.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises body with liquid extinguishant inlet and outlet orifices, breakable diaphragm, piston and explosive charge. Piston is aligned with diaphragm rupturing means having sharpened beveled portion. Body is coaxially located inside sleeve so that annular gas is formed in-between. The gap is used for simultaneous discharge of liquid extinguishant and gaseous products of explosive charge combustion through orifices made in sleeve. Body has gas venting orifices located along body height and spaced equal distances one from another along body perimeter. The orifices are arranged in two rows in staggered order. Additional orifices for liquid extinguishant discharge are formed under gas venting ones. Distance between upper piston end and upper points of neighboring orifices is equal to distance between diaphragm and end of beveled portion of diaphragm rupturing means.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability and efficiency.
