FIELD: electrical engineering; flywheel systems for control of spacecraft motion relative to center of mass.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system includes four motors-flywheels; two of them belonging to one axis form twin. Provision is also made for current regulators of motors-flywheels of twin and current regulators of motors-flywheels not included in twin. Current regulators of twin consist of recuperative static converters, current sensors and signal comparison circuits connected with current regulators of other motors-flywheels. Energy is exchanged between motors-flywheels past power source.
EFFECT: reduction of peak power.
