FIELD: thermal protection of spacecraft.
SUBSTANCE: proposed heat insulation is made in form of stack of shields which are made from terephthalate films metallized by aluminum on one side and separated by glass veil gaskets between two layers of facing material. It is also provided with additional stack assembled from five shields made from polyamide film. Additional stack is located between outer facing layer and shields made from polyamide films.
EFFECT: increased thermal resistance and thermal stability.
