FIELD: hydroacoustic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method of making junction nodes of cable enclosed into polyethylene envelope with rubber envelope of outboard hydroacoustic device is based upon usage of low-temperature vulcanization rubber mixture preliminary activation of point of polyethylene to be joined. Prior to vulcanization the surface of polyethylene to be connected is subject to warm-up till it begins to melt within specific temperature range where temperatures are no lower than vulcanization temperature and no higher than slight burning temperature. Degree of melting of polyethylene is determined visually on the base of transparency in layer melted of joined surface.
EFFECT: improved strength of connection.
