FIELD: antennas for sonars and deep-water equipment. SUBSTANCE: junctions for cables operating at high voltages and frequencies as high as tens of kHz are made as follows. Cylindrical contact post pre-cured on side surface with rubber layer is inserted at both ends into blind axial holes of each pair of conducting members being joined; conducting members are joined by molding the post to square at sections located beyond rubber layer; then all splices are placed in rubber mass followed by its curing; each of contact posts being used has two radial slots communicating with blind axial holes at their bottom; upon molding conducting members are additionally joined with contact posts by soldering through radial holes using soldering iron with melting point lower than curing temperature of rubber layer covering central part of contact post but higher than curing temperature of rubber mass; molding to square is effected by simultaneous application of equal compressing forces on four sides. EFFECT: improved reliability of joints used for deep-water equipment. 2 cl, 5 dwg
