FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in astronomy to generated the image of an object observed through a turbulent atmosphere. It consists in reception of a radiation flow, division of one flow into two equal intensity radiation beams, generation from the said beams of interferogram of rotation, registration of N distributions of in interferogram intensity in a narrow spectral band during N time intervals smaller than that of time correlation of atmospheric distortions, reconstruction of spatial spectrum of the object and generation of the object image using the said spectrum. Prior to the reconstruction of spatial spectrum, the second flow is divided simultaneously with the first one into two equal-intensity beams. Then, a phase delay of one of the beams equal to π/2 relative to each other to generate from it the interferogram of rotation. Now, the registration of the N distributions of intensity interferegram is effected. Then the phase differences in intensity distributions are formed for the first and second interferograms to be quadratically detected. Now the signals detected in N time intervals are memorised and compared along with the formation of module square and the object spectrum phase differences.
