FIELD: petrochemical and rubber industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of manufacturing liquid low-molecular weight rubbers used for producing nonvolatile polymer plasticizers, solid rocket fuel binders, and adhesives. Liquid low molecular weight rubbers are obtained via polymerization of conjugated dienes or copolymerization thereof with each other or with vinyl monomers in bulk at 60-105°C in presence of free-radical initiators and molecular mass regulators as well as in presence of, in amounts of 0.02-0.2 of the weight of monomers, antioxidants selected from phenyl-β-naphthylamine and 3,3'-methylene-bis(4-methyl-6-t-butylphenol).
EFFECT: decreased amount of polymer deposits on the polymerizer walls and enabled continuality of (co)polymerization process.
