FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method of buoyancy distribution measurement along the trailed hydroacoustic antenna by defining the deviation from the straight line of the antenna section placed in the liquid, is based on submerging the antenna section in the tank filled with liquid with the specific weight being over 1, for example, glycerine. Then the antenna is fixed with clasps, measurement instruments with sensitive elements like adjustable buoyant vessels are set in the neutral position along the straight horizontal line, the section gets released from the clasps and deviation from the straight line is measured, then the positions of the sensitive elements and the antenna are restored.

EFFECT: raise in measurement accuracy of the buoyancy distribution measurement along the antenna.
