FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of a float-type instruments, for example, two-degrees-of-freedom integrating gyros. Operating gyro measuring axis is oriented perpendicular to the plane of meridian, turned through 180°, then its output signal is measured. Now, it is turned again, but in opposite direction, through 180° and the output signal is measured. The trimming moment is calculated from the time intervals between the turn end and the stepwise output signal change.

EFFECT: higher accuracy.
