FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: hydrotreatment of naphtha is carried out at the first step in the presence of nickelic/cobaltic molybden-alumina catalyst in hydrogen atmosphere. The second step of refining is carried out in the presence of multiphase system consisting of top and bottom silica gel layers with nickel-modified silica gel layer between them, with the content of the latter being of 2-12 % by weight. EFFECT: increased yield of the end product.
