FIELD: repair of grinding and mixing aids for paste-like materials (paint ingredients). SUBSTANCE: wear resistance material is applied on side surface of work members substituting for the worn-off material. Then the work member is balanced. Ceramic ring with metallized surface layer is used in the quality of the said wear resistance material. The ring is made of silicon carbide based materials having porosity of more than 6% . The ring surface is metallized by its dipping into and exposure to the action of an iron based melt. Metallized ring is installed on the worn-off and machined working member and fixed by welding along the contact contour line. EFFECT: increased ceramics contact strength; increased paint adhesion; increased wear resistance of work member. 1 dwg
