FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: projection- vortex generator 7 is made on outer side of intake manifold 1 before intake valve seat. Height of projection is equal to 0.03-0.15 of manifold diameter. Wall of manifold before projection widens at angle from 5 to 15 degrees. Such design improves atomizing of fuel and provides uniform distribution of fuel in air before delivering fuel-air mixture into cylinders. EFFECT: enhanced operation reliability. 2 dwg
