FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device containing measuring unit, marker and mechanism for retaining measuring unit on pipeline under investigation has two carriages made up of triple-arm levers. First arms of these levers are interconnected by means of pivot and second arms are provided with rollers designed to come in contact with guide positioned on pipeline under check. Measuring unit is made in the form of guide carrying movably and fixedly mounted base serving as plotting board covered with recording paper and two T-shaped plates, secured on third arms of levers for movement relative to plotting board. Flange of one of T-shaped plates is provided with graticule and slide with marker intended to interact with graticule and recording paper. EFFECT: improved accuracy of checks. 1 dwg
