FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgical pulmonary, and can be used to treat exudative pleurisy. For this, a medicinal mixture consisting of 10 ml of a 1 % iodopyrone solution and 40 ml of a 40 % glucose solution is introduced through a drainage tube installed during the drainage of the pleural cavity. Drainage is further closed and active aspiration is carried out after its opening. If the exudation is decreased to 100 ml per day, the drainage is removed.
EFFECT: method provides reduced treatment time and prevents side effects.
