FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: product: porous carbon material in the form of three-dimensional matrix formed with carbon layers (thickness is 10-1000 nm) showing true density 1,8-2,1 g/cm3 and pore volume 0,2-1,7 cm3/g and the following structural properties: α 002 = 0.340-0.349 nm, La=4-18 nm , Lc=3,5-14 nm . Carbon layers are oriented in space as facets of convex polyhedron (rib length is 4-1000 nm, mean angle between facets is 120-176 degrees). Carbon material is obtained by successive thermal working of technical carbon in hydrocarbon, oxidative and inert media at the range of temperature 800-3000 C. EFFECT: enhanced porosity, high resistance against oxidative corrosion. 2 dwg
