FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves blowing melt by gaseous nitrogen through dipper tuyere and feeding nitrogen from top by streams onto surface of bubbling zone. Nitrogen is fed from top below protective cone. Consumption of nitrogen is calculated in accordance with melt blowing rate, level of dipping tuyere into metal, diameter of bubbling zone and other parameters.
