FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: gas flow governor is built in the form of electromagnet to which working face restoring steel plate is attracted in bigger or lesser degree depending on value of current passing through coil of electromagnet. Gas is fed through hole in body of electromagnet under plate. Plate has one or several wedge-shaped grooves communicating with inlet hole. End of plate is made fast above inlet hole to body, the other end is suspended from flexible adjusted tie. If there is no current in coil reaction of pull and moment from restraint act on plate which causes certain sagging of it. In this case pneumatic resistance is minimal for passing of gas and its flow is maximum. If current is present in coil in addition to mentioned actions electromagnetic fore will act on plate which will attract it to body without clearance over some section. Used length of grooves and pneumatic resistance will grow and flow of gas will diminish and will correspond to flowing current. By contrast to existing design proposed governor has some advantages, namely: absence of sliding friction, absence of wear out of rubbing members and therefore absence of fouling of passing gas by products of wear out. EFFECT: no fouling of passing gas by products of wear out. 5 dwg
