FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: offered invention relates to the field of analytical instrument making and can be used in coulometric hygrometers intended for measurement of volume fraction of moisture in gases. The coulometric hygrometer is intended for measurement of volume fraction of moisture by its extraction from the analysed gas and the subsequent measurement of electrolysis current in this moisture in a coulometric cell. The hygrometer with additional function of remote sustaining of constant flow rate of the analysed gas through the coulometric cell of the hygrometer allows to monitor humidity in processes where according to process requirements in a sampling point the density of the analysed gas often changes, therefore a continuous fine tuning of the analysed gas through the coulometric cell of the hygrometer is required. Also such hygrometer can be used for humidity measurement in various sampling points with the various analysed gases, but it is necessary to fit the hygrometer in the mounting place with a remote selector of sampling points. Electromagnetic valves can be used as selectors.

EFFECT: expansion of the scope of application of coulometric hygrometers by adding of the additional function - remote sustaining of constant flow rate of the analysed gas through the coulometric cell with various density.
