FIELD: electronic equipment. SUBSTANCE: cathode-luminescent indicator has vacuum shell composed of envelope and flat anode plate to which anode segments are applied coated by layer of luminophor. Cathodes and grids anchored on frames are located inside envelope. Grids are positioned in two parallel planes. Their boundary zones overlap each other by width of roller. Distance between planes is chosen so that it does not exceed critical distance of region of grid controllability of indicator and is not less than critical distance of electric puncture between adjacent grids. EFFECT: improved efficiency and reliability of indicator. 3 dwg
