SUBSTANCE: screen designed to display alphanumeric, character-andgraphical, and television information incorporating provision for color coding of information and color synthetization has vacuum envelope, set of filamentary cathodes, rows of anode electrodes applied to insulating base in the form of phosphor-covered strips alternating in colors (red R. green G, and blue B) within information region, current-conducting tracks, contact pads, modulating electrodes which are orthogonal to anode electrodes and form light-emitting segments at point of intersection; newly introduced in screen is region for chip assembly and soldering on glass (chip on glass) to control R, G, and B regions of screen; anode electrodes of one color are connected through current-conducting tracks and own contact pads to respective contact pads of chips on glass separated for each color (RR through R), (GG through G), (BB through B). EFFECT: improved ergonomic characteristics (chromaticity, color saturation, brightness of different colors, brightness and color contrast, angle of vision). 3 dwg
