SUBSTANCE: screen has board that mounts anode electrodes in the form of parallel phosphor-covered strips and is placed inside transparent vacuum envelope, directly heated cathodes, and control electrodes mounted inside envelope orthogonally to anode electrodes connected by means of current-carrying tracks to external leads through contact pads printed on board periphery; control electrodes are made on transparent insulating plate in the form of thin-film transparent conducting strips and arranged on diametrically opposite side from cathodes compared with anode electrodes at distance found from expression d1/d2≅ 0,5, where d1, d2 - are distances from control and anode electrodes to directly heated cathodes, respectively. EFFECT: simplified design, facilitated manufacture, improved reliability, reduced cost of screen.
